How to Transfer Photos to iPad from Mac

If you are an iPad novice, chances are you want to know how you're able to put photo or picture collections stored on Mac into your new iPad. This article here, is a beginner's guide on how to transfer photos to iPad on Mac. The process is very simple. You can follow the guide below to finish the job step by step. Before doing this, you need to install Apple iTunes app.

Note: iTunes is a one-way transfer app. You can only transfer pictures or photos to iPad from Mac via iTunes, but by no means transfer files back. Ok, let's begin to transfer photos to iPad from Mac.

Step 1: Connect iPad to Mac via iPad cable.

Step 2: Launch iTunes. On the left panel of its interface, select your device under Devices section.

Step 3: Click on Photos tab, tick Sync photos from, and then select iPhoto or Choose Folder… from drop-down menu to add photos to iPad.

If you use iPhoto to manage your photos, here, you need to select iPhone options to import the photos you want to transfer. If not, you need to click Choose folder… to select the folder containing the picture you wish to sync.
