How to Make Christmas Ecards with Photos?
Sending paper Christmas cards is so last century. Nowadays, with technology developing rapidly, more and more people choose to send a Christmas ecard to their family and friends. As we all know by now, electronic Christmas cards (known as ecards) are quick, convenient and easily enhanced. What’s more, making a photo Christmas ecard is very easy if you have an easy-to-use third-party tool.
I like to use iCollage for Mac to make some personalized Christmas ecards with my latest life footages on them. And then I can send them to my loved ones via email or share them on Facebook or Flickr. The tutorial is very straightforward. By the way, you can print it out if you like.
Before doing this, you need to download this great app first. You can get it here.
Step 1: Create a new project
After run this app, you’ll see three options: “Create Collage”, "Quick Collage”, and “Open Project”. Just select “Quick Collage” to directly drag your photos from iPhoto. Or choose “Open Project” to enter into the project you edited last time.
Step 2: Import photos and begin editing Christmas ecards
Select your favorite “Card” template to launch its editing interface. Click the “Image” in the low right corner to re-add your wanted photos from iPhoto for editing.
With its editing options, you can “zoom”, "Rotate”, and add different visual effects by using “Effect”, "Adjust”, “Mask” functions. Also, you can add, delete, zoom or rotate decorations.
Note: If you want to use the same card template to make several Christmas ecards, you can click the “+" icon to add new pages and then respectively drag different photos into them for editing.
Step 3: Export your Christmas ecards
After everything is ok, you need to export your Christmas ecards. Click “Export” icon to choose the output way you want.
You can select “Flickr” or “Facebook” to share Christmas ecards with your friends on the two social media, or send them to your loved ones by email. Of course, you can export PDF format if you like.
